Death of subscriber
Very disappointed tonot being able to resolve this issue. This is my deceased husband's account. I need this account to be closed.
I never was able to talk to someone to cancel my dead husband's subscription. It was impossible to get any help at all -just continuous looking into different selections that never led to someone or a link to get help.

Three days ago I discovered that my subscription was expired when I received a notification that my email attachment would require compression in order to send it to a client. Next I received a note that my free trial (it has been several YEARS since I was on a free trial.
That notification has no exit, just goes round and round, once you click on it. (I know full well from copious experience, so I left it be.
Then Two days ago, The "Do you want to take advantage of our powerful software package while it is on sale" pop-up appeared. So, I clicked on that and thought, at least, that I had purchased a WinZip Pro software set for a discounted 34.95 (I think it was). I got an email right away saying they were entering the transaction manually and I would receive email confirmation Shortly.
Instead, NONE such has arrived in the intervening 48 hours. My last substantive communication with you (as opposed to "at" you) was Tkt# 530**** on 35 MAY 2025.
I need your help in getting this situation secured. I have a set of billing recitations that require compression - before I can receive permission to delivewr them to the Client
Was I the victim of a phishing expedition?
I NEED to get tyhat software working again. Properly

*** automatically charged my credit to renew a subscription for computer support, three days before this subscription expired. I have not been using computer due to age *** not auth earlcharge
To cancel subscription and demand refund as Winzip prematurely charged my account. I no longer have the computer as it was so old even *** unable to assist.
I have not used their assistance service last ten years. Demand refund immediately!!

- - Cancellation is difficult and I was charged after 2/2/26 confirmation.
- - I had an unsuccessful cancellation last year and am unhappy with Cleverbridge.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. CREDIT POSTED TO MY CREDIT CARD. Trying to file a claim is extremely difficult and frustrating; rather than waste your time just call your bank after the first try.
It is almost impossible to cancel a subscription; deliberately difficult. After receiving confirmation that the Winzip subscription had been cancelled on 2/2/26, I was charged the annual fee of 29.95 on 2/3/26. I was unsuccessful in cancelling last year, not happy with your client (billed via Cleverbridge).

Won’t let me cancel
Made all my files larger, not smaller when I went to cancel or delete will not let me do that I pay for it. You know it was a trial that Ive had on there for less than 25 minutes.

I was a WinZip customer for over 20 years and always relied on the provided security. Suddenly, the programs no longer worked correctly, I constantly received messages to renew.
Several times, I tried again, only to find out later that I actually ordered more than once. By the time I noticed my mistake, more than 30 days had passed, and I was told that after 30 days, there would be no refund. On top of that, the main program had been charged twice, I received a refund for the double pay (within 30 days), but then the first update was canceled to which should have worked til January of 2026. The same person (who seemed to be located in India) kept answering my e-mails, including when I contacted Corel instead of just WinZip.
I finally lost patience and told him to cancel all of my parts of WinZip.
He emailed to tell me all was canceled, but a month later, a new payment was taken out of my PP account.
With most companies, when I purchase something and later begin to order the same item, I get an instant message that I've already purchased it. I was really disappointed with Corel-WinZip's subpar customer service.

I have a charge on my credit card from win zip and I don't know what it is. I called the number that was listed there and it didn't tell me anything except that it was a company that accepted charges.
I called my credit card and they said they would investigate and send me copies of the invoices but it would take a while. Right now my phones are down and computer is down also. I am on someone else's phone to post this.
Does anyone know what this company is and what it collects for? All I got was it is some kind of something but the computer I don't know!!

WinZip is a fraudulent app. This application, which I have not used, keeps charging my credit card $59.90 every year for a product I do not use.
I have repeatedly contacted them to stop the subscription and even though they sent me a confirmation email on March 1, 2022, titled 'Deactivated Subscription #S1141****: Updated subscription details for WinZip's products', confirming the deactivated status, they continue to charge my Capital One credit card. I have notified my credit card company and opened a dispute for 2023, 2024, and 2025.
